Why devotees choose Swayamvara Parvathi Homam
Goddess Parvathi won Lord Shiva as her husband through devotion and tapas, and the Swayamvara Parvathi mantra is chanted in her honour. Young people and their families perform this homam to pray for a compatible life partner and the removal of delays in finding a match.
When it is performed
Fridays, Mondays, Navaratri and the bride's or groom's birth star are popular, often while alliance talks are taking place.
What the ceremony involves
After Ganapathi pooja and a sankalpa, the priest invokes Parvathi and chants the Swayamvara Parvathi mantra a set number of times with offerings into the fire. The person offers a red cloth and turmeric, and the ritual concludes with purnahuti, aarti and blessings.
Formats and languages
Swayamvara Parvathi Homam can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Kannada, Tamil and Telugu traditions can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.
How booking works
Tell us the occasion, location and dates that suit your family. We match a priest who follows your tradition, confirm timings and materials, and send a written plan with the final price. You decide only when everything is clear.
Questions families ask
Can this pooja be done online?
For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.
Is samagri included?
The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
