What the ceremony involves

After a sankalpa naming the student and their goal, the priest performs Ganapathi, Saraswati and Hayagreeva homams with their mantras. The student offers flowers and receives blessings, and books and pens are placed before the deities. Purnahuti and aarti conclude the ritual.

Formats and languages

Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.

Is samagri included?

The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
