Why devotees choose Vivah Puja
Vivah is the most important of the sixteen sanskars, uniting two people and two families before the sacred fire. Each ritual carries a promise, and a pandit who explains the meaning of each step lets every guest share in it. North Indian and Marathi customs differ, and the pandit follows your family's practice.
When it is performed
The vivah muhurat is fixed from the couple's kundlis and the panchang, avoiding kharmas and Chaturmas, usually months ahead.
What the ceremony involves
Depending on the community, the rites include Ganesh puja, var mala, kanyadaan, granthi bandhan, the pheras around the sacred fire, saptapadi, sindoor daan and mangalsutra. Marathi weddings include the antarpat and mangalashtak. The pandit coordinates timings with your venue and family.
Formats and languages
Vivah Puja can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Hindi and Marathi traditions can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.
How booking works
Tell us the occasion, location and dates that suit your family. We match a priest who follows your tradition, confirm timings and materials, and send a written plan with the final price. You decide only when everything is clear.
Questions families ask
Can this pooja be done online?
For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.
Is samagri included?
The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
A note on faith and expectations
