Why devotees choose Marriage
The Vedic vivaha is a sacred covenant between two people and two families. Each ritual carries meaning: the promises of saptapadi, the tying of the mangalsutra and the sacred fire as eternal witness. A priest who explains the rituals as they unfold helps guests of every generation feel part of the ceremony.
When it is performed
The wedding muhurtham is fixed from the couple's horoscopes and the panchangam, usually months in advance. Pre-wedding rituals such as nichayathartham, pandakkal and nalangu are planned around the main date.
What the ceremony involves
Depending on the community, the ceremony can include vratham, kashi yatra, maalai maatral (exchange of garlands), oonjal (swing), kanyadanam, mangalya dharanam, panigrahanam, saptapadi and homam. The priest coordinates timings with your venue, photographer and family elders.
Formats and languages
Marriage can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Kannada, Tamil and Telugu traditions can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.
How booking works
Tell us the occasion, location and dates that suit your family. We match a priest who follows your tradition, confirm timings and materials, and send a written plan with the final price. You decide only when everything is clear.
Questions families ask
Can this pooja be done online?
For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.
Is samagri included?
The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
A note on faith and expectations
Pooja and homam are practised for devotion, gratitude and inner steadiness. They do not replace qualified professional advice, and no outcome is promised.
