What the ceremony involves

The priest installs a kalasha decorated as the goddess, performs Ganapathi pooja and a sankalpa, and conducts shodashopachara pooja with Lakshmi Ashtottaram and Sri Suktam. Kumkum archana, naivedyam of sweets and fruits, and aarti complete the pooja.

Formats and languages

Lakshmi Pooja can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Kannada and Tamil traditions can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.

Can this pooja be done online?

For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.

Is samagri included?

The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
