Why devotees choose Kedareswara Nomu/Vratham
According to tradition, Goddess Parvati observed this vratham to become one with Lord Shiva as Ardhanarishvara. Telugu families observe Kedareswara Nomu for harmony between husband and wife and the welfare of the family. Once begun, it is usually continued every year as a family tradition.
When it is performed
It is observed on Deepavali Amavasya in Ashwayuja or Kartika masam, usually in October or November.
What the ceremony involves
A kalasha is prepared as Kedareswara, and the priest guides the sankalpa, shodashopachara pooja and the Kedareswara vratha katha. Twenty-one types of offerings, including twenty-one adhirasalu, are presented, and family members tie the twenty-one-knot sacred thread. Aarti concludes the vratham.
Formats and languages
Kedareswara Nomu/Vratham can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Telugu tradition can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.
How booking works
Tell us the occasion, location and dates that suit your family. We match a priest who follows your tradition, confirm timings and materials, and send a written plan with the final price. You decide only when everything is clear.
Questions families ask
Can this pooja be done online?
For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.
Is samagri included?
The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
A note on faith and expectations
Every ceremony is offered as an act of devotion. Results in health, wealth, relationships or legal matters cannot be promised, and professional advice should always be sought where it is needed.
