Why devotees choose Kali Maa Pujan
Goddess Kali is the fierce form of the Divine Mother who destroys ignorance and evil, yet she is a loving mother to her devotees. Families worship her for protection, courage and freedom from fear and negativity, and she is especially revered in Bengal and among devotees across North India.
When it is performed
Kali Puja on Kartik Amavasya (Diwali night), other Amavasyas, Tuesdays, Saturdays and Navratri Ashtami are especially powerful.
What the ceremony involves
After Ganesh puja and a sankalp, Maa Kali is invoked in an idol or picture and worshipped with red hibiscus, kumkum, a lamp of mustard oil and naivedya. The pandit chants her mantras and the Kali Kavach, and a havan may follow, ending with aarti.
Formats and languages
Kali Maa Pujan can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Hindi tradition can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.
How booking works
Tell us the occasion, location and dates that suit your family. We match a priest who follows your tradition, confirm timings and materials, and send a written plan with the final price. You decide only when everything is clear.
Questions families ask
Can this pooja be done online?
For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.
Is samagri included?
The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
A note on faith and expectations
Every ceremony is offered as an act of devotion. Results in health, wealth, relationships or legal matters cannot be promised, and professional advice should always be sought where it is needed.
