Dhanalakshmi Pooja

Why devotees choose Dhanalakshmi Pooja

Dhana Lakshmi is one of the Ashta Lakshmis, the eight forms of the goddess, and is specifically associated with wealth and material abundance. Telugu families and business owners perform this pooja to give thanks, to bless their cash box and accounts, and to begin new financial years with her grace.

When it is performed

Dhanteras (Dhana Trayodashi), Diwali, Fridays, Akshaya Tritiya and the start of a financial year are especially auspicious.

What the ceremony involves

After Ganapathi pooja and a sankalpa, Dhana Lakshmi is invoked in a kalasha or image. The priest performs shodashopachara pooja with Lakshmi Ashtottaram and the Sri Suktam, and coins, account books and the cash box are worshipped. Naivedyam and aarti conclude the pooja.

Formats and languages

Dhanalakshmi Pooja can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Telugu tradition can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.

How booking works

Planning starts with a short enquiry. Our team checks priest availability for your tradition and language, proposes a muhurta, shares a clear list of inclusions and samagri, and confirms the total. Nothing is booked or charged until you agree.

Questions families ask

Can this pooja be done online?

For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.

Is samagri included?

The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.

A note on faith and expectations

Every ceremony is offered as an act of devotion. Results in health, wealth, relationships or legal matters cannot be promised, and professional advice should always be sought where it is needed.
