Why devotees choose this ritual
The Shiva Purana praises the worship of the Parthiv Shivling, made from earth or clay, as especially pleasing to Lord Shiva. Performed at the Triveni Sangam, the puja combines that devotion with the sanctity of the confluence. Families perform it for Shiva's grace and peace, and for the fulfilment of righteous wishes.
When it is performed
Shravan, Mondays, Pradosh, Maha Shivratri and Magh Mela are especially auspicious.
What to expect
The pandit shapes the Shivlings (one, 108 or 1,008 as chosen) from sacred clay, performs a sankalp and pran pratishtha, and conducts abhishek with Gangajal, milk and bel patra while the Rudra path is chanted. The Shivlings are then respectfully immersed at the Sangam.
Planning your visit
This service takes place in Prayagraj. The exact venue, the local priest and the schedule are confirmed with you, along with travel, stay and any remote participation.
How booking works
Tell us the occasion, location and dates that suit your family. We match a priest who follows your tradition, confirm timings and materials, and send a written plan with the final price. You decide only when everything is clear.
Questions families ask
Can I take part if I cannot travel?
Remote participation, including sankalpa in your family's names, live viewing and prasad delivery, depends on the venue and the ritual. It is confirmed for your specific booking.
What is included in the price?
You receive a written plan that lists the ritual, priest dakshina, materials, donations, travel and stay where relevant, so the final price is clear before you confirm.
A note on faith and expectations
Pooja and homam are practised for devotion, gratitude and inner steadiness. They do not replace qualified professional advice, and no outcome is promised.
