Vishnu Sahasranam Path

Why devotees choose Vishnu Sahasranam Path

The Vishnu Sahasranam was taught by Bhishma to Yudhishthira in the Anushasana Parva of the Mahabharata. Reciting the thousand names is one of the simplest and most beloved forms of devotion to Lord Vishnu, for peace, wellbeing and the removal of difficulties.

When it is performed

Thursdays, Ekadashi, Purnima, Kartik month and family milestones are especially auspicious.

What the ceremony involves

After Ganesh puja and a sankalp, Lord Vishnu is worshipped with tulsi and yellow flowers. The pandits recite the Vishnu Sahasranam, offering a tulsi leaf with each name where an archana is requested, followed by aarti and prasad.

Formats and languages

Vishnu Sahasranam Path can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Hindi tradition can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.

How booking works

Planning starts with a short enquiry. Our team checks priest availability for your tradition and language, proposes a muhurta, shares a clear list of inclusions and samagri, and confirms the total. Nothing is booked or charged until you agree.

Questions families ask

Can this pooja be done online?

For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.

Is samagri included?

The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.

A note on faith and expectations

Every ceremony is offered as an act of devotion. Results in health, wealth, relationships or legal matters cannot be promised, and professional advice should always be sought where it is needed.
