Shukra Graha Japam

Why devotees choose Shukra Graha Japam

Shukra governs relationships, marriage, beauty, art, music and material comforts. When the astrologer finds Venus weak or afflicted, or during Shukra dasha, the japam is performed to strengthen its harmonious influence. It is often chosen when marriage or creative pursuits are a focus.

When it is performed

It is usually started on a Friday, during Shukra hora, or at the start of Shukra dasha, as advised.

What the ceremony involves

Priests chant the Shukra mantra a prescribed number of times, followed by a homam with udumbara (fig) samidh. White field beans, a white cloth, rice and ghee are traditional items of dana.

Formats and languages

Shukra Graha Japam can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Telugu tradition can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.

How booking works

Tell us the occasion, location and dates that suit your family. We match a priest who follows your tradition, confirm timings and materials, and send a written plan with the final price. You decide only when everything is clear.

Questions families ask

Can this pooja be done online?

For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.

Is samagri included?

The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.

A note on faith and expectations

Every ceremony is offered as an act of devotion. Results in health, wealth, relationships or legal matters cannot be promised, and professional advice should always be sought where it is needed.
