When it is performed

What the ceremony involves

After Ganapati pooja and a sankalpa in the student's name, the priest invokes Saraswati and chants the Saraswati mantras and Suktam while offering ghee and samidh. Books, pens and instruments are placed before the goddess for blessing, and the homam ends with purnahuti and aarti.

Saraswati Homam can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu traditions can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.

Can this pooja be done online?

For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.

Is samagri included?

The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
