Rather than focusing on a single planet, Navagraha Japam honours all nine grahas together. Families choose it before weddings and major events, at the start of a new phase of life, or as a general prayer for balance when the horoscope shows several challenging influences.

When it is performed

It can be performed on any auspicious day, often on a Sunday, the person's birth star, or a day recommended by the astrologer.

What the ceremony involves

Priests chant the mantra of each graha a prescribed number of times, often over one or more days, followed by Navagraha homam with the nine traditional samidhs and navadhanyam. Dana associated with each graha may be offered.

Formats and languages

Navagraha Japam can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Kannada and Telugu traditions can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.

How booking works

Send an enquiry with your city, preferred dates and language. A coordinator confirms a suitable priest, the muhurta, the samagri list, what is included and the final price. You approve the plan before any payment is requested.

Questions families ask

Can this pooja be done online?

For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.

Is samagri included?

The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
