Lakshmi Narasimha Homam

Why devotees choose Lakshmi Narasimha Homam

Lord Narasimha, the man-lion avatar of Vishnu, appeared to protect his devotee Prahlada. With Lakshmi at his side he is worshipped in his calm, benevolent form. Devotees perform this homam to seek protection from fear and negativity, the strength to face difficulties, and peace in the household.

When it is performed

Narasimha Jayanti, Swati nakshatra (his birth star), Saturdays and the Pradosha period at dusk are considered especially auspicious.

What the ceremony involves

The priest performs Ganapati pooja and a sankalpa, invokes Lakshmi Narasimha in a kalasha, and chants the Narasimha moola mantra and Lakshmi Narasimha Karavalamba Stotram while offering ghee and samidh into the fire. Purnahuti and aarti conclude the homam.

Formats and languages

Lakshmi Narasimha Homam can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu traditions can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.

How booking works

Tell us the occasion, location and dates that suit your family. We match a priest who follows your tradition, confirm timings and materials, and send a written plan with the final price. You decide only when everything is clear.

Questions families ask

Can this pooja be done online?

For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.

Is samagri included?

The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
