Lakshmi Kubera Homam

Why devotees choose Lakshmi Kubera Homam

Goddess Lakshmi is the source of all prosperity, and Lord Kubera is the treasurer of the gods who guards wealth. Together they are worshipped to invite abundance, steady income and the wisdom to use wealth well. Many business owners make this homam an annual tradition.

When it is performed

Fridays, Diwali, Dhanteras and Akshaya Tritiya are especially auspicious, as is the start of a new financial year or venture.

What the ceremony involves

After Ganapati pooja and a sankalpa, the priest installs a kalasha and invokes Lakshmi and Kubera, chanting the Sri Suktam and Kubera mantras while offering ghee, lotus seeds and other materials into the fire. Purnahuti and aarti follow, and families often keep the Kubera yantra in their prayer room.

Formats and languages

Lakshmi Kubera Homam can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu traditions can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.

How booking works

Send an enquiry with your city, preferred dates and language. A coordinator confirms a suitable priest, the muhurta, the samagri list, what is included and the final price. You approve the plan before any payment is requested.

Questions families ask

Can this pooja be done online?

For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.

Is samagri included?

The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.

A note on faith and expectations

Pooja and homam are practised for devotion, gratitude and inner steadiness. They do not replace qualified professional advice, and no outcome is promised.
