Why devotees choose Chandi/Durga Saptashati Path
The Durga Saptashati from the Markandeya Purana describes Maa Durga's victories over Mahishasura and other demons. In North India the path is especially loved during Navratri, and families arrange it for protection, courage, the removal of obstacles and the blessings of the Divine Mother.
When it is performed
Chaitra and Sharad Navratri, Ashtami, Fridays and Tuesdays are the most popular, and the path may be spread over several days.
What the ceremony involves
After Ganesh puja, kalash sthapana and a sankalp, the pandits recite the Kavach, Argala and Keelak, the thirteen chapters and the closing stotras. The path concludes with Durga aarti and may be followed by a havan with the Saptashati mantras.
Formats and languages
Chandi/Durga Saptashati Path can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Hindi tradition can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.
How booking works
Planning starts with a short enquiry. Our team checks priest availability for your tradition and language, proposes a muhurta, shares a clear list of inclusions and samagri, and confirms the total. Nothing is booked or charged until you agree.
Questions families ask
Can this pooja be done online?
For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.
Is samagri included?
The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
A note on faith and expectations
