When it is performed

Tuesdays, Fridays, Amavasya, Ashtami and Navaratri are considered especially powerful for Bhadrakali worship.

What the ceremony involves

After Ganapathi pooja and a sankalpa, the priest invokes Bhadrakali and chants her mantras and stotras with offerings of ghee and sacred materials into the fire. Purnahuti, aarti and kumkum prasad conclude the homa.

Formats and languages

Bhadrakali Homa can be arranged at your home, or online with live participation where the ritual allows it. Priests who follow the Kannada tradition can be requested, and the chanting language and regional procedure are confirmed before the date is fixed.

Can this pooja be done online?

For many poojas, homams and paths, yes: the priest performs the ritual with your sankalpa (names, gotra and intention) while you join by video. Ceremonies that need the family present, such as a housewarming, wedding or samskara, are held in person, and relatives who live elsewhere can join by video.

Is samagri included?

The written plan lists every item the priest brings and anything your family needs to arrange, so there are no surprises on the day.
